Salesman required our $1000 deposit on 7/11/08. Chk was banked 7/22. Function was said to be completed on 8/4. Roofing materials were shipped on 8/1. Dumpster was shipped on 8/4. Work was subsequently rescheduled for 8/12 and dumpster was eliminated, vacant, on 8/6. On 8/12, when no body turned up, we unearthed that Gandy had shut their gates. A website on the site (now-closed) supplied some specifics in regards to what happened. All efforts to obtain our deposit back have already been overlooked. We were approached with risks of liens by both dumpster organization and also the building materials suppliers, neither of whom have been taken care of their solutions by Gandy. We could solve the problems using the two subcontractors and also have submitted grievances with both Claims of Mi (Gandy HQ) and Illinois.
