I purchased a top mount refrigerator for my apartment. It's just me and my 3 year old son. I lost my food on Sunday and they delivered one on Tuesday. Delivery guys set it up so I went food shopping only to realize Wednesday A.M. That the fridg had stopped getting cold.
The frozen food spoiled. The refrig portion had a temperature reading of 90 degrees running when the
delivery men picked the lemon up and left me a new whirlpool refrigerator. I e-mailed the company - explained i was a single mom. I haven't heard from them this is 2 weeks.
I had to take the loss for the food 2 times. Also time off from work for deliveries and back to the store to complain. The store allowed me to upgrade to a higher priced machine but couldn't help with food. I have no apt.insurance or any other means to be reimbursed for the food loss.
