Elegant Furniture tells lies to your face time and time again. Managers won't come to the assistance of waiting customers - my husband waited 45 minutes for a manager to help him with an issue and the manager never came out of the office.
Managers won't come to the phone to handle issues. Customers are told that a refund cannot be given because employees don't know how to issue refunds on credit card machine.
Furniture is promised in 3-5 days after payment but you will wait 8 - 20 weeks for furniture to come (all the while the company is telling you your furniture will be delivered tomorrow everytime you ask about the furniture)
The phone rings at the showroom at least 105 times before anyone answers... That's if they answer at all.
Their showroom constantly has a line of dissatisfied customers who have been waiting months on furniture they paid for. I requested a refund because my furniture never came for the event I ordered it for and I was told a refund check would be issued. The check still hasn't come.
This company does BAD BUSINESS. Warning... If you expect to pay for furniture and actually receive it. Don't order anything from this company. Their prices are cheap... But you get what you pay for. Once your furniture does come... It is often poor quality (looks nothing like the catalog photo) and good luck trying to get an issue resolved with any furniture problems.
I have been lied to AT LEAST 15 times by this company, the moving scheduler, an employee, a sales person etc. If you schedule furniture delivery with them, they will never show up. I waited on 4 different occassions for their delivery drivers and they never showed up. They do not give you a window for delivery. They want you to wait ALL DAY LONG for them.
I have seen angry customers drive from out of town to their showroom because of lies being told to them and non delivery of furniture.
Remember... To them 3 days = 8 weeks OR LONGER! And they could care less if you tell them that you are ordering furniture for an event and need it before the event. They just take your money and tell you it will be there in 3 days, and basically laugh all the way to the bank.
DON'T PAY CASH FOR ANYTHING... You may want to do a credit card chargeback later on... That is the only way you can remotely get your money back and they will fight you every way on that too.
This company is a major JOKE!!!
