As with the other reports about this Company, I too ordered furniture and paid in advance for it. It was not delivered and Blackwelder's lied about the status of the order. When I began trying to get my money back, the games began.
I was told every excuse in the book. I, too, left many messages on voice mail and of course, none were returned. Once I actually talked with a Sales Associate who assured me his manager would call me later that day. Well, I never heard from either of them. I even placed calls to my point-of-contact as stated on my contract. She, too, never returned my calls.
As a Designer I have purchased items from them before and have never had a problem. I do not know what has happened with this company, but obviously they have become very dishonest and have destroyed four generations of a good name. I hope someone can find a way to make them pay for all of this.
