Sears service called for a refrig that was still under limited warranty. (had to wait one-week for service call)
Meanwhile had to throw away a food items ($).
Service repariman shows up.By now the refrig starting cooling again BUT making a loud noise when the compresser comes on/off. Since it did not make the noise when he was there he stated he could not do anything, he did vacum for about one minute, stayed in his truck for about twenty minutes and charged $172.00. He made a claim that he could not fix the problem. I asked to speak to a manager or have someone call me... No communication, The service guy left knowing the problem had not been addressed.
Within one week I was turned over to a collection agency for the said amount. The refrig still has the bad noise and no longer cools.
I have tried to resolve this issue with "Sears" customer service and customer relations stating that this guy should not be allowed to show up and not complete the job, walk away and then allow the customer to be sent a bill for unacceptable incomplete work.
