Employee keisha mceachron stole my property from rented storage ripoffs theives liars bad customer service

On August 27 I put the contents of my home in storage at this place. I originally made a reservation for an inside climate controlled unit which I was told they had plenty of. When I arrived they only had outside units. I wanted the inside unit because it was always locked and it wasn't out in the open. I rented the outside drive up unit with the intention of only using it for a month until my apartment was ready.

Before renting the staff informed me that because in the past you were able to drive up swipe your card and access the gate they were having a lot of theft from people who were not customers just getting through the gates and cutting locks off the storage and stealing. But to stop that from happening they required each customer to come inside the office to swipe the card and you would gain access that way. This was supposed to ensure only customers and employees were allowed in the storage area. The storage area can only be accessed during the business hours. Once the office closes no one is able to get in the storage area. So this theft happened while the business was open.

Anyway, while me and 2 of my friends were unloading the truck, one of their employees (Kiesha Mceachron) came to the storage to bring me the contract to sign because she said their printer was acting up. When she arrived she made a comment saying "I sure hope you pay your storage cause if you don't I see some stuff I already want." I looked at her and told her that is something you do not have to worry about because I am not going to be here long.

I returned to my storage on September the 7th to retrieve some clothes for a job interview I had the next day. Closed and locked the storage. I returned on September 16th to put more things into the storage and I tried to access the lock that was on the storage which was not the lock I had purchased on 08/27. I then walked back to the office and informed them that the lock on my storage does not fit my keys and I need the lock cut off because I was afraid my stuff had been stolen. The employees contacted the manager and he instructed them to charge me $25 to do this. I was upset and I asked them my stuff has been possibly stolen why are you trying to charge me $25. I had a friend bring me some bolt cutters. I cut the lock off and all of my belongings had been stolen, all except one mattress, 2 bar stool chairs and some wine glasses. The contents were: a overstuffed couch, a matching overstuffed chair, 36 inch Toshiba tv, one king size bed set and new mattress, a mountain bike, one stainless steel refrigerator, a stainless steel stove, a washer and dryer, 7 pieces of art, 20 full size framed movie posters, coffee table and 2 end tables, 3 boxes of dvd's with 40 in each box, 4 boxes of cd's with 60 in each box, 4 bins of clothes and shoes, 2 boxes of dishes, 1 bin of pots and pans, etc.

I returned back to the office to inform the staff someone had stolen my belonging and all the employees working on that day didn't have any concern about what had happened. I asked them to contact the manager, one employee told me he was gone for the day and he couldn't be reached. Which I found funny, because he was able to be reached just 30 minutes prior when he wanted me to pay $25 to have a lock cut off. I then called the police to make this an official case of theft. The officer went inside and asked the employees some questions and said he finds it hard to believe that a whole truck load of stuff just disappeared. There are cameras located within the rows of this storage area and the employees lied and said that there were no cameras. I repeatedly asked for the manager and I was told to leave the store because they had other customers, it was not their problem. My storage was the only one that was burglarized. If this was random then why weren't other locks cut?

Mine was the only one cut because the person who did this already knew the contents of my storage. I am the only one with the card and the keys to the lock that was purchased. The only person other than myself and my friends that helped me moved who knew the contents of my storage was the employee Kiesha Mceachron.
