I purchased some furniture from City Furniture in Florida. Amongst the items purchased was a Daybed with trundle for my 2 year old daughter. The salesperson demonstrated how easy it was to pull out and use. I proceeded to purchase and have delivered.
After delivery and install, I did not use the bed, since my dauhgter was with her granparents and was not with us until two weeks later. We went ahead and made the bed for our daughter (Tovah) and when we tried to pull the trundle, we could not pull out (not even an inch). I called customer service at City Furniture and they had someone come out and verify claim (we paid for 1 year in home service, I think that's the only reason they came). The person said that the trundle did not work due to the carpet, and that WE should of known.
I called customer service (1-800 number) and they said that it is our fault. Even after I explained if a disclaimer by the display stating that trundle will not work with carpet, could have avoided me purchasing this item. I guess that's the point get customer to purchase, THEY do not care after you purchase, I even wrote their president, whom through hardwork built this company. I guess he is rich now to care for some customer service issues. Do not buy from these people!!!
