I own a small insurance agency in Odessa, Florida. We are a captured agency and are affiliated with a well known national insurer. We opened for business on May 1 and began marketing our agency throughout the West Central Florida area.
I was solicited by Michael Falcone of Allinsuranceneedz.com. Allinsuranceneedz.com is associated with Internet Marketing Group out of Amityville, NY. Michael was persistent with us through the sales process and verbally provided a lot of information about the quality and quantity of leads his company provides to insurance agents just like us. Unlike all of the other internet based lead providers we use, Allinsuranceneedz.com requires payment for a year of service at the inception of the contract. I wanted to use as many web based lead sources as possible so I signed the agreement and paid $3,600.00 on July 11. Our agreement was for personal auto leads that originate from 6 local zip codes.
It took between 2 and 3 weeks for us to go "Live" on their network. I'm not sure when we went Live because Michael stopped calling us with updates shortly after he received our signed agreement. We never received any auto leads. I wrote e-mails to Michael and left voice mails for him but received no feedback. After being Live for about 3 weeks I sent an e-mail to Michael telling him to cancel our account and refund our money. Soon after my e-mail was sent, I received a call from Michael and a V.P. With the company. They said the service can not be cancelled because we have a contract. They refused to refund my money.
I'm seeking professional assistance in Tampa and New York and am very willing to pursue this issue further. My best advice to other agents is to stay away from Allinsuranceneedz.com. Use the web based lead services that charge per lead and can be cancelled. We have found a couple of providers who do a great job of providing good leads.in our experience, Allinsuranceneedz.com has done nothing more than take a big chunk of our business start up funds.
