I purchased a Swivel Sweeper from Ontel Products in September. After determining it was not what it claimed to be, I returned the entire item, (plus the free gifts) per the return instructions provided. The item was returned in the original packaging, no damages, no scratches, was in perfect condition. It has been 1 month and Ontel has still not refunded my money.
When I initiated my return, the company asked me to make sure & get a tracking number (I know they did this so they can use it to their advantage to try to claim your package is lost). And this is exactly what they are doing.
When I checked the tracking number on 10/20 on the USPS site, it showed that my return had been deliverd & received by Ontel at their Fairfield, NJ address on 10/7/05.
However, now, Ontel claims that the package is lost. I have provided them with the tracking number and all of the information they requested, but they still have my money and refuse to refund the $39.98. I would be curious to know how many people this has happened to.
