I pay DTE Energy 19.99 monthly for Home Protection Plus on my home appliance. On Dec 8,04 I contacted DTE to report my washing machine. On Dec 10,04 Busen's appliance camed out, told me I needed a motor and it would take 7 days to get the part back.
On Dec 19-20,04, Busen's came back out, this time he broke the machine down in three peices, stating now I need a hose, he left. On 12/23-24/04 I called Busen's to inquire about the new part I was informed it takes 7-10 business days for the new part to come.
I made a formal complaint on 12/24/04 to DTE who says"My problem is not a problem." I call DTE on 1/3/05 again to inquire about the contractor they hired, they informs me that Busen's says" They cannot fine the part, the maching is unrepairable and take a 125.00 that will come in 4-6 weeks and that's it. I found three companies who carries parts for my machine.
I did not get any customer service on this, I cannot afford a new machine that why I was paying for home service to my appliances. I do not want 125.00, I want my machine fixed. I spend more than that on the laundry mat.
