I bought a TV from Samsung Qatar around 2012 May/June. I haven't used it until I back to Sri Lanka in 2012 October. After I back I just turn on the TV. Pictures just appeared and gone! Then I went to Sri Lanak Samsung agent SINHAGIRI. I handover the TV on 2012 Nov 08 to SINHAGIRI with purchased invoice. The informed me that since I have purchased invoice me can claim this under International warranty and later informed Dubai has agreed for that. The repair cost is more than TV value as they told me. Now more than 3 months but I couldn't get the TV.
Within that 3 month I have called several times but they are every time postponing the solution.
Summary of latest tele - conversation between me and Sinhagiri as follow;
1) 2/5-Mr Rodrigo - Day after tomorrow (7th Feb) will send the Purchasing Order. And return the TV to me within 10-12 days (15th Feb)
2) 2/18-MS Shamali-Shipped from Dubai but not yet received. Call after 1 week. I asked shipped date. Transferred to Rodrigo, his assistant told to call his on tomorrow morning.
3) 2/19-Mr Rodrigo - Little delay to send purchasing order but today received the Purchasing Invoice however on one not in the ship. Tomorrow will send the money to India and you can get the TV within 10-12 (2nd March) days
4) 3/2-MS Chamari - Payments has been made. Still it’s coming on ship. Will be arriving within 3 weeks. Rodrigo in meeting.
As they told they have some television in queue under international warranty more than 6month! I bought a Samsung since it has international warranty when we have the purchasing order. But now I get very very frustrated about Samsung since the behavior of Sri Lana Agent.
I want to make a complaint again Sri Lanka agent. How can I do? What is the action Samsung head office can take in this issue.
