Charging to replace

Device failed, took over 10 hrs of useless chat tech support before someone with a brain agreed that the hardware was the problem.

Now they want to charge me full price to replace the device.

They clearly don't stand behind their products, otherwise they would not try to increase their sales on the backs of unhappy customers who had the misfortune to receive a defective product.
