Bought a Compaq Presario CQ 65 in August for daughter going to college. It's the first week of Nov. And it's dead. Tried another charger at Staples store and nothing goes on. HP will replace/repair the computer, but we have to pay the shipping (one-way); Why? It was "inexpensive." That is their reason. "For a very few models, the customer has to pay one way shipping." I'm steamed up about that. Why can't I just bring it in to an authorized service center? Wouldn't that save everyone time and Money and make me (customer) much happier? Also, 10 minute telephone wait for customer service (I timed it) and very bad connection (although the person was invariably polite.)
