On or about 7-18 I spoke to a technician via phone regarding the failed installation of Naturally Speaking 11. He was curt, rude, and most of all disrespectful and condescending. He insisted the problem is on my end because I have an integrated sound system and NOT a sound card! That is absurd to me as in all other ways my Inspiron 530 works just fine!
This was a very disappointing experience to and for me, as I would expect such behavior from fly-by-nite outfits like: Max-my-speed or other companies that review the cost of litigation and potential profits as their primary business plan. Perhaps the old adage is true: If it looks or sounds to good to be true... It probably is... The paralytic stroke I had in 2008 has made me so much more aware of my capabilities and how to implement and successfully use them now that my right side is essentially paralyzed, but despair not for hope springs eternal in the mind of this fool, and I still believe where there is a will, there's a way...
