HP provides the worst customer services, and most irresponsible support technicians. I bought a new printer to replace a broken same model printer, which was out of commission at barely over one year of service. Obviously the first printer is out of manufacture warranty. Therefore I bought the second printer with a three years exchange service warranty. It broke again this time barely made over two years of service. I made numerous calls to tech supports around the globe, warranty service department, hp home & home office, and finally reached the case managers office, which is the almighty highest escalation department, to resolve the problem. To each of these departments I have sent the receipt of the product purchased and also the 3 years warranty. None of the departments has access to each others database. The case manager can't interpret the contract and persistently said that my 3 years warranty begins with the first printer which would be expired by now. I asked him why would anyone buy a warranty that covers a broken printer, and if so why did I pay for the second one since I purchased the 3 years exchange service warranty on it. He can't defend that and deliberately put me on hold for half an hour and seek a second opinion from another case manager. I had to hang up and call him back and remind him that I was still on hold.in addition, he was trying to sell me a refurbish printer. I'm totally speechless to the incident. I vowed I'll never buy another product from HP. It is because it takes days to have your call bounced from one person to another, one department to another, explained the situation to each person that came along, sent the same information to each person and department you spoke to. It is a simple problem if HP has inter departmental communications and trained personnel.
