Sears Auto Center
Attempted ripoff, bad work, no honor for individuals in hardworking communitiy

In March of while getting my tires rotated by my local car dealer; it was suggested that I get my front brake pads changed. So I decided to get my brake pads changed immediately.

After doing some compartive shopping, I decided to go to Sears Auto Center.By them being the closest to home, and most reasonably priced; I thought that this was definitely the way to go.

So I took my SUV to Sears Auto Center, to have my brakes done. I had only intended to get only the front brake pads changed; however the technician showed me the wear on the rear brake pads, and suggested that I replace the rear brake pads as well.

After the brake job was complete, the technician informed me that "the brakes would sqeak a little bit for about a week." So off I drove.

After about a week and a half, the brakes were still squeaking, so I immediately brought my truck back in to be re-serviced.

The technician told me that; the front pads weren't working properly, and that he was ordering "ceramic brake pads" this time. The technician said that the rear brake pads, checked out to be ok. Everything was fine after that.

Upon taking my vehicle to The same Sears Auto Center for a wheel alignment, I agreed to the $30.00 inspection charge to check my brakes as well, sense I recently had them do my brakes.

I chose not to wait, and they called me @ home and told me that I need all four new rotors, and four new brake pads. I told them not to touch it! I came and retrieved my truck immediately.

The problem is this; why do I now need new rotors, when I recently had a brake job (twice)! The manager (Jesse Cruz) wouldn't help, and I left a message for his boss (Ms. Hall), she never responded. The brake pads are under warrentee, the rotors are my concern. Why should I have to pay for their negligence??? What can be done about this?
