On Saturday, Oct 1 I ordered 2 medium 2 topping pizzas at 5:15pm EST from the Mechanicsburg, PA store at 2 West Allen St. It took 6 minutes on hold to place my order, & I could hear other lines ringing & not being answered by the employees I also heard talking & laughing in the background as the harried person took my order. I mentioned what I noticed occurring & asked for his name so I could tell his Manager how hard he was working, & apparently by himself. His name was Gary & he was the Store Mgr, but said the General Mgr would be in the next day. My order was to be delivered in 30-40 mins per Gary.
One hour & 20 mins later I called back to find out where my order was. Gary told me it's a new driver & he should've delivered my order. I had to ask Gary to call the driver to inquire on his location. He complied & said the delivery would be "a few minutes". I asked how many minutes & was told 10.
Keep in mind, this store is 2 miles from my house; I am disabled or I would've picked up the order myself.
At 7:30pm, now 2 full hours & 15 mins without dinner for myself & young son, I call back a 3rd time. Nobody knows what happened to my order & no options were given to me, except to continue to wait even longer for my now 2 hr old pizza? I got very upset. It's late, my son is hungry & my patience is gone. I told Gary I want 2 fresh pizzas made & delivered in 20 minutes. Gary said he would make them himself. An hour goes by, no pizza. I call again & am told "he's almost there, just a few minutes", at 8:30pm. When it got to 9:30pm, a full FOUR HOURS later, I called one more time.
Since they have Caller ID, they knew who was calling. I was placed on hold by Gary the Store Mgr himself, & 17 minutes later I got his message loud & clear. Nobody was going to answer my call, so I hung up.
I can guarantee that not only will I NEVER eat from ANY Dominoes again, but I will make sure that ALL my Facebook friends, family, neighbors do the same, ESPECIALLY at the MECHANICSBURG, PA 17055 location.
