I purchased one gallon of Prestone because with the rebate it would cost less than the other brands. I am very diligent in dotting every "i" and crossing every "t" because I know in general with rebates you have to follow the instructions precisely. I did this including me sending the "foil seal from the mouth" and I still was rejected. I have not yet received a response as to why exactly it was rejected.
There are 3 requirements for this rebate:
A: Dated cash register receipt with store name and purchase price circled. I submitted this.
b. Imprinted foil seal from the mouth of the 1 gallon bottle. I SUBMITTED the foil seal from the mouth of the 1 gallon bottle. The foil seal did not have anything "imprinted" so I also submitted a letter indicated that the foil seal had no such "imprinting". Nonetheless I still submitted the foil seal.
C. Circle the qty and the last 5 digits of the product UPC code. I SUBMITTED THIS.
I have copies of what I submitted and I completely fulfilled the requirements to receive the rebate. Yet I was still rejected. This is a scam, file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission "https://www.ftccomplaintassistant. Gov/".
