Tranone is a deseptive company that offers the best repair deals on transmission reapirs by luring the consumer into depositing up front cash into an account usually ($900) to have the vehicle towed, initial diagnostic testing, dismantaling of the transmission and estimate for the repairs. The catch comes in this manner: Transone reps calls the consumer back with a request to install another additional $900 to 1200 dollars into the account so that the repairs can be finalized. The company states that additional damages were encountered during repairs therfore the price for repairs would differ from that of the original estimate given bythe phone reps of Tranone. The company also offers (or did at one time) a $900 dollar in savings or discount twards the cost of repair. If that was the case my transmission repair would have cost me $400 dollars in total to R/R the transmission. The Transone rep I dealt with, including her supervisor used tactics of insisting another $1250 be deposited into the account to complete the work on the vehicle or Tranone would levy a lean for work suposeldy done, parts and storage till the balance be deposited into the account of Tranone. TRanone reps strongly discouraged any form of contact with the repair shops because it is evendent that Tranone if not doubling what the repair would be, deseptively charge up to two and a half more for the same repairs dealing directly with the shop doing the repairs.
