On April 7th I started my search to find a shop to service my 200 chevy suburban's tranny. I called around and the prices were on the high side around 25-3500 bucks. I called Jesse at Tranone.com who I gave him my info about my truck and he waited a few minutes called me back and gave me a quote of 1397 hard parts. I questioned why was the ad so low on the net and my price is 1.5 times higher, he explained " we buy unused shop time, to give you a greater discount of 50 to 60 %".
I bought that lie and allowed them to talk me into towing my truck after I stated I could drive it to your shop to save money. They said towing was free, 150 towards a rental and a 200 dollar discount was added to my great deal. They towed my truck on 4-8-10 and was told the turnaround would be 24 hr. Well after a few days I called to find out I needed to put a deposit of 890 to get the work started.
