I ordered an automotive starter from Grand Rebuilders online. They sent one that was defective, so I emailed them to see if they could send out a replacement. Levon from Grand Rebuilders stated that the starter was under a one year warranty and instructed me to send the defective starter back to them. Levon said that they would "take care of it for you."
I sent the starter back and waited for five weeks, but Grand Rebuilders did not send me a replacement starter. I emailed Grand Rebuilders and Levon asked for the delivery confirmation of the package containing the starter that I had sent them.
Since I did not send the package with delivery confirmation, I scanned the USPS receipt and emailed it to Grand Rebuilders. Levon wrote that he did not anything under my name and asked what kind of car the starter was for. The next day, I emailed him that information and never received a response or the replacement starter.
So, Grand Rebuilders has the $65 that I paid for the starter as well as the starter itself. I paid $10 for them to ship it to me, and about $13 to send it back in addition to the cost of the starter.
Levon has refused to respond to a BBB complaint, and Grand Rebuilders now has a BBB rating of "F." After reading nytewulf2002's complaint (Report: #559723) from January 25, it seems that I am not the only one who has been ripped off by Grand Rebuilders.
