Female ripped off by El Leon mechanic and trying to keep other women from same bad fate. My 98 Cadillac Seville Sts went to shop for repair of motor. Mechanic asked for payment up front on parts to do repairs. Paid $600 8-30 receipt #159065 to shop owner, and then he later asked for additional $250.
Declined to give him $250 as no repair had been done and he had no receipts for $600 previously paid for parts. Failure to purchase parts with money. Advised me he used $600 to make his payroll.
Mechanic failed to update customer on status of repairs and car sat in shop for 6 months. Customers calls were passed off as a joke and customer made decision to have vehicle removed from shop in Feb.
No results but mechanic demanded full payment based on empty promises to repair vehicle. Paid additional $650 receipt # 159138 on 2-17-11 and promised 98 Cadillac motor would be replaced by 2-19.
