The owner is full of it. He has his mechanic do repairs in your vehicle and days later you have to take the vehicle back to him for more repairs. We have had to continue to have him either fix the same problem over and over again or take it back to him for a new problem each time he claims he fixes the first problem.
We have spent close to $3000.00 at his mechanic shop over a period of 3 months and just last week had to take the vehicle back to him, he had his mechanic do some work on it, and after leaving his shop, drove about 30 miles and broke down on the side of the road, when we called him for help he was to busy to bother with our vehicle, so we had to hire a wrecker, "cost us $100.00", to tow it back to his shop once more. He assured us he would have it repaired by that same afternoon, and needless to say 4 days later he still had not even worked on it. He also lied when we called him, by telling us he was working on it, and when we drove there just to check, we found the vehicle in the same place the wrecker left it, and they had never even began to work on it.
Well we finally got hip to his game, and had another wrecker tow it to another mechanic shop, "cost $40.00", and to our surprise found out that what Jay said was wrong with it, was not even what he said. He was going to charge us around $150.00 to replace a part that was not even bad. And after the new mechanic shop diagnosed the problem, he had it fixed in less than 12 hours and it only cost $56.00!
My advise to everyone is be aware and be careful if you ever decide to use Jay's Auto Repair in Onalaska Texas. He is dishonest and is a true ripoff!
