Stanley Tools, Husky Tools Exactly WHO makes the plastic cases for Husky Tools?!?!?! Notrequired (see your own instructions!)

This site is totally LAME. This report has to do with HUSKY TOOLS, but I had to enter SOMETHING for the category. So, if I'm screwing things up here, let me know where this report goes.

Story: Bought 60-pc Husky tool set at a Home Depot in Massachusetts. Got it home and found you could NOT get the sockets out of their recesses without a screwdriver. Plastic case would not close unless you banged it (with a screwdriver handle). Case would not then open unless pried open with a screwdriver. Good tools. Bad case. I returned the Socket Set and decided to UPGRADE to a 69-piece Husky tool set; figured more money would mean better quality. WRONG! This set had the same problem with the case... Only worse.

I called Home Depot about the plastic case. They said to call Stanley Tools in Connecticut. Stanley said to call Home Depot... They just made the tools. BTW, Stanley offered to send me a new case! Told her not to bother unless they had redesigned it. She had not idea... No idea at all... Total waste of words. She emailed me the following Monday and wanted a Part Number (the one on the box did not mean anything to her). I explained it was a HUSKY Socket Set. "Oh, I thought it was a set of Stanley tools." Don't know if she had blonde hair. PRESENT STANDING: Both sets have been returned. Again, good quality tools, but I don't want to "brown bag" them for the next 10 years! In the meantime if you decide to buy a HUSKY SOCKET SET... Make sure you don't have to break a finger trying to "operate" the plastic case. Absolutely pathetic product. Absolutely pathetic customer service on all the part of all participants! Of course, the case is made in China, and I'm not sure it's covered under any warranty. Maybe I should call China!

Make believe I'm a Roofing Contractor: "Sorry, Ma'am... I just provide the nails! If your shingles were defective... They're made in China. You'll have to call somebody in China. I'll find out who and let you know when I find out. Sometime..in the near future... Have a nice day!"
