My Husky portable air compressor (Model H1506FWH) failed on me after about one year of little use. It would not build pressure. I took it apart and found a broken reed valve (I think that is what they are called). This part should last a lifetime, or certainly more than a year.
Husky was very hard to find online and offered no contact numbers or spare parts. Mastertoolrepair.com had parts for the compressor, but not the one I needed. They had a similar part for other brands for about $20, which was reasonable.
I will not buy another Husky product and will continue to avoid buying tools at Home Depot. Everything there is so dumbed down that everything is very unreliable. I would buy at Northern Tool before I bought again at Home Depot.
