Just a heads-up to those who live in the North East Texas area who are looking for a car or truck who don't have perfect credit. Do NOT go to 5 Star Ford in North Richland Hills. I went there in late November with my girlfriend and we looked at a decent Ranger. It was within my budget and I had no forclosures or bankruptcies on my credit. Yes, I do have some black marks. My credit isn't the best in the world because of what happened after Sept. 11th, but I could well afford that Ranger. We couldn't get an answer that day because it was a Saturday, so I was told Monday or Tuesday for certain. Well, it was Thursday evening before my salesman, Ephraim Vivar finally told me the answer was a resounding "no". He even went so far as to tell me that his finance manager "Skip" said that he thought I was about to STEAL that vehicle! Ephraim Vivar also said that he was still looking for lenders the last time I talked to him and he he would let me know soon what he could do. Did I hear anything? Hell no! Listen people, this is really really bad customer service. And to be accused of being a thief is the ultimate in bad customer service. I am extremely angry at Sam Pack's 5 Star Ford and feel I have been dealt with quite badly. And to top it all off, Ephraim Vivar was my friend. I will never again set foot on that car lot, and have already let several people know about Sam Pack's 5 Star Ford's customer service practices. So, heads up! If you are wealthy, please stop by. If not, don't bother. You'll only end up not only disappointed, but actually insulted.
