In 2008 star ford sold me a truck which was not street legal, the vehicle had head lights and tail lights which were not stock, they were pitch black (tinted). When i bought the vehicle i asked if the lights were legal and the sales man replied by saying he spoke to a Gendale peace officer that he knew about them and that they were indeed street legal.
Some time later i was pulled over by a trafic enforcement officer and was informed that the lights were illegal and had ive been in an accident i would be at fault due to opperating a vehicle that was not up to street legal standards.
When i contacted Star Ford in Glendale about the issue, i explained what had happend. I delt with many people all the way up to top managment including service dept. Mgr. And Star Ford would not correct the problem, they stated because it was not within 30 days that they were not liable or under any obligation to put the vehicle in street legal condition
After dealing with the bottom employees up to the top employees i asked to talk with the owner and inform the owner about what his employees have done, the finance management refused to even leave my name and number for the owner, but he did offer to sell me the parts for about 1000 dollars plus installation
It is amazing that star ford does not even know how to sell a vehicle that is legal, and furthermore, that Glendal P.D. Doesn't even know traffic laws.
I guess next time i go to buy a car, if i see people yelling at the employees ill know to find another dealership
