On 10/8, I bought a pre-owned car from Kia of Orange Park. I found a 2009 Toyota Corolla that I liked on their used lot and decided to purchase it. We finished all financing paper work and I traded in my 2001 Dodge intrepid, which I owed a little over 1,000 on. We agreed on 500.00 for my trade in and that they would pay off my car, while adding the remaining balance to the new car. On 10/23, I received a Notice of Default on the car that I have traded in. The dealership failed to pay off in the 2001 dodge intrepid in a timely manner.

Though that problem has since been resolved, and the account has been paid in full, I am still having a problem with the management and sales team. When I purchased the car and received the key, it was missing the keyless entry key fob. The sales associate Jerry said one would be ordered for me because after all it was listed as one of the features of the car and the price of the car included that option. Now, here it is, 3 weeks later and I have no update on the status of this. I have spoken with Ed, whose the sales manager, Joe, who is another sales associate, and they refuse to tell me if the part has even been ordered yet. I called a local Toyota dealership for a quote for the keyless entry fob and was told it would be roughly 300 dollars, plus tax.

On 10/22, I went to the dealership in person to try to get some answers. No one helped me and as of today, no has called me. I have called several times EVERYDAY since then and I am either put on hold for 30 minutes or I am told that "the sales manager is not available", or he is not there & I have left several messages.

I feel as if that since my new vehicle has been financed and the deal is done, Kia of Orange Park has left me high and dry because they have received their money, so they really don't care about how my credit has been effected because their finance department took over 10 days to pay off my trade in and that they will not get me a part that they promised, that really should have been included in my buy in the first place. I am extremely frustrated because if the alarm is ever triggered on my car, I have NO WAY of turning it off because I do not have the fob. Not to mention the fact that I am working middle class citizen that simply can't afford to just go out and pay for this 300 dollar part because they failed to give me what was promised
