I will never buy another product the Daimler Chrysler or any of it subsidiaries offer. It began in February when I purchased a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier from Frank Fletcher Dodge in North Little Rock, Arkansas. I should have known things could only get worse, because the first week the car went back to the shop twice. The next week we took the car back twice more, and the same thing the next week. Needless, to say the car still has problems. I call Chrysler Financial about the problems I was having with the vehicle and was told by one of their rather rude in employees that they didn't care if the car was defective just as long as the notes were paid. I didn't call back, but I continued to pay my notes, until due to a disability I was forced to leave my job and fell behind on car payment. Jack Shelby a representative of Chrysler Financial has made my life and the life of my family a living hell. He calls my house insults me, my wife and my teenage daughter. Jack has gotten so bold as to call my daughter by name, which he got from obtaining her cell phone number when I called from it to discuss my account and happened to hear her name on her voicemail.
Jack has called my mother-in-law and asked for me and when she told him I wasn't there he asked for my daughter by name. My daughter has also had insulting conversations with Jack in which he told her to tell her daddy to learn the local bus schedules, because he was going to have my car repossessed, and also for me to get out my walking shoes. I also have voicemail messages he has left on her cell phone telling her to tell her daddy to call him, and also messages to tell her daddy to be a man and call him. I have had enough I will no longer be emasculated by a company that is making millions off people like me and don't have the common courtesy to treat you like a human.
My first step is to take legal action on behalf of my daughter who is a minor and has nothing to do with this account. My next step is to never talk to anyone from Chrysler Financial on the phone again, all correspondence from me to them will be through the mail. I feel this is their practice and I don't think they intend to change from all the reports on this site that are identical to mine. You better hope your finances hold up so that you never become where can't pay a car payment to Chrysler Financial, because you'll find out what true intimidation by a creditor is. I have two cars with GMAC and when I became disabled they bent over backwards to help me and gave me extentions to help me get back on my feet, I can't Thank them enough. GMAC's customer service is excellent and is consistent with each and every customer service representative I talk to. I hope this report is helpful to someone, and I hope it stops someone from going through what I and my family have gone through.
