I am leasing a 2001 Dodge Durango. The engine is just about to blow any day now. It's knocking and rattling. I took the SUV into the dealership and they are saying that due to lack of maintenance, they will not cover the cost of the engine replacement or the cost to rebuild this engine.
This is going to cost me over $ 5,000.00 out of my own pocket. The vehicle only has 26,000 miles currently. This is a total rip off. What is the warranty good for? Why do they offer an warranty? There are over 200 cases with this same problem and Chrysler is screwing them as well. I will never buy another Chrysler product again.
I am going to also spread this news to all my friends and family. This is ridiculous. I spend my hard earned money on a new vehicle so I would not have issues/problems like this and Daimler Chrysler screws us over.
