I bought a used "CERTIFIED" pre-owned Jeep Wrangler from Keffer. They showed me a list of appx. 100 items they inspect and check off that everything is good on each item. When I got home the night after my purchase, I noticed 4 or 5 chips in the windshield. They replaced the windshield. My radio stopped working right as I was pulling out of lot after purchase so I turned around and found the salesman to see what was wrong. He punched the top of the dash which made the radio work and he said not to worry about it. They tried to charge me for a new radio a few weeks later but ended up giving me one for free.
One of the items on checklist is that the brake pads are not worn down beyond a certain point. I had to get ne rear brakes after 3,000 miles, there is no way I should have needed brakes if the checklist was correct.
Next, my top was leaking on bothe sides at the front, completely flooding my enterior. Keffer said there was nothing they could do unless I paid them to have it fixed. I currently have a complaint in with Chrysler about this.
Next, I have an oil leak and took it to a different dealer to have it checked out. It happens to be something that is going to require removal of entire transmission to fix and they told me it has been leaking for over a year and Keffer should have seen this during inspection to call it "Certified" pre-owned.
The salesman also told me he would have my insurance switched ofer from the car i traded in to the new jeep. 2 months later i found it he never did this, couldnt have done it in the first place, and I was driving around with no insurance.
I would recommend everyone to stay away from Keffer!!!
