I purchased a 2005 Santa Fe from Keffer Hyundai. The vehicle had 4200 miles on it. I asked if that would become the warranty start date and was told "YES".
When I recently went in for a repair I was told they would not make any more warranty repairs the "warranty" started at "0"!
On this occasion and a prior visit. I was treated like "trash" for warranty work and basically treatened that if I had a covered repair I would have to produce ALL service records that I had on the vehicle since I did not use THEM for repairs.
I was told "Well, if you had your vehicle serviced here we might provide customer goodwill like we do to others that have there work done here!
SLANDER against all automotive repair facilities that have rights to servie as well!
I told Shawn Howard that if their prices were fair, I would go there. On occasions before I had work done, I called Keffer and they would NOT match competitive prices like they say and they talk down the quality of work anyone but them perform.
Twice I have asked the owner Mr Moser to call me to discuss my issues but, I never recieve follow up.
I have purchased 2 Santa Fes in the last 4 years and I advise you to steer clear of Keffer and get "promises" (warranty) in writing.
I guess they aren't hurting for business at keffer!
