They tried to rip me off yesterday by selling me parts and labor which were not needed on my van. Their head mechanic claimed not to know what the problem with my idle arms was and tried to sell me a new one and have it installed for $360.00 - even though mine was brand new.
I took the van to another shop which fixed the problem in less than two minute by switching the washer from one side to the next and charged me nothing in hopes that I would go back to their shop next time. They got my business and I am going to spread the word on these crooks who prey on the retirees who know nothing about automotive mechanics.
Is there any such thing as an honest mechanic any more? Make sure to get a second opinion if you are counting on these guys to do your work because they are going to try and stick it to you, if they can.
