Citibank credit cards offered the Drive America Auto Club Service to their customers. The first month free then an automatic charge on your credit card. When I needed the service a few months ago I attempted to call them. Forget it! Their phone system is designed to wear you down so you are forced to call another road service. My daughter was stranded at the side of the highway waiting for me to get them on the phone # provided. I finally gave up and paid $198.00 To have her towed to a service station. I then got back on the phone and waited for a half an hour intednding to cancell the service but my call was never answered. I listened to their recording the whole time. I then called citibank and complained to them. They suggested that I cancell that credit card and open a new one that would not allow the automatic charge. I got the bill recently for the new citibank card with the $9.95 charge for Drive America Auto Club. Do you think they are affiliated with each other. The only way out was to cancell citibank which I did. I will never allow an automatic charge on any credit card again. They are in on it together.
