On a Friday evening we stopped to "kick tires" and was pounced upon by two salesmen. We spent 5 hours there and picked out a car we wished to have and did credit report/payment choices, interest rates, etc. Returning the next day, the salesman took us for a ride in our car of choice, then when we returned, they told us that we didn't qualify for the car we wanted - even though they told us we had, the night before. Raised voices, tears, disappointment led us to the "only car we qualified for" and they made us feel "lucky" to be getting a car at all!!!
Their treatment on Friday night was pure sugar! Saturday, they were patronizing, condescending, badgering and acted as though they were the only game in town.
The salesman boasted that his father owned the used car department and that he was the only one to deal with.
While there we saw him try to take a customer from a salesman and lead him to his father.
We witnessed the steering of customers asking for specific salesmen to others.
Toyota and Toyota products are GREAT!!!
Right Toyota is the WRONG place to buy a car!!!
