I have no way of proving what I am going to say but it certainly is very suspicious! My car has been down shifting sometimes when I drive it in Overdrive! I took it to the AAMCO station in Webster, they said they give a free inspection! Supposedly they put it on the computer and then told me that there was nothing wrong with the transmission—that they did not get any codes!
A couple days ago I discovered that my transmission was leaking and had to add transmission fluid—and then the next day I discovered that there was not one drop of antifreeze in the radiator jar! Since I had had my car's oil changed and they are suppose to check the levels of all fluids I could not believe that the antifreeze could have evaporated that fast! I took my car to a service station that I have been going to for 25 years for them to check the transmission cover and gasket. I was asked if someone had worked on it because all of the bolts were loose and it looked like someone had worked on it—I told him that AAMCO was just suppose to have put it on the computer and he said they would not have been required to take the cover off underneath the car! Do you suppose that they could have done this in order to have my transmission fail and need a repair? I might have taken it to a dealer! It is hard to believe that someone would do such a thing—of course being a female they take advantage. But it sure does look as if someone did something—to have the fluid leak and no antifreeze all at one time! I would hate to think there are people like this is this world.
