On November 6 I took my Chrysler van for a Signature Oil Change, just before my lease end.
We liked the car very much and decided to buy our lease, and so we did in December.
On Sunday January 19th, I heard a funny clicking noise from the engine on my way to a birthday party. I did not make it back home. After an ordeal of getting off the expressway in a dangerous area, and going home, to return the next day praying to find the car in one piece. Then came the painful towing to the dealer, only to find out that my engine was useless due to SLUDGE!!! As if I did not change the oil in 10K miles.
The quote for the repair was outragous, over five thousand dollars.
Finally I got together with a mechanic that overhauled my engine for two thousand five hundred dollars, and three weeks without a car.
