I went in for a basic oil change. The guys at Jiffy Lube told me I need to have my engine flushed and my air filter replaced. They also told me that with my engine I needed to have a certain kind of oil, the full synthetic oil. This oil is more than double the price of the basic oil. This oil upgrade, plus the engine flushing and air filter, ended up costing $178!! I only wanted a basic oil change for $25-$30. The techs at Jiffy Lube took advantage of my lack of car knowledge and oversold me. I've spoke with other techs since and found out my air filter was fine and my engine did not need to be flushed. I will never go to any Jiffy Lube again!
