Took a car in for up-priced oil change service that is supposed to include complete inspection and fluids. Reported all tires were in good shape with 7/32 tread on rear tires. Went to Ford dealer the next day for service, and the Ford dealer pointed out that both rear tires were worn through to the steel belts on the inside edge—some inspection!
For some reason (must be altzeimers), I took a second car in for the same service. Aside from the fact that the fluids were not filled, I happened to glance out the window to see them putting a different oil in than I had specified—the oil they were using did not meet the manufacturer's requirement for the car, which would have voided the warranty if there had been an engine problem.
Taking a lesson from Momento, I now have written on my arm never to go back to Walmart for auto service...
