I have been driving on some Douglas Tires. I thought I needed an alignment so I took it somewhere that could perform an alignment where they told me the actual problem was tire separation. The Douglas Tire was comming apart, the belt seperated inside. So obviously I could not safely drive on the tire and could not take the car back to walmart unless I paid for a tow. Well due to the fact that the tires were no longer on the car Walmart in Suwannee, Georgia, Scott the support manager would not do anything, despite 50% tread life. Furthermore he indicated that I should have purchased road hazzard warranty. WTF tire separation is a manufacturer defect not a road hazard. Anyway. Don't know if Goodyear still makes Douglas or not, but Walmart certainly doesn't stand behind their tires. Steve Santhuff of Lawrenceville, GA 678-789-6708.
