They then charged her $450.38 for an alternator and $262.50 to install the alternator plus $4.00 FET battery and $37.57 for shop supplies and taxes of $63.50 totaled $1040.40. I worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co for over 20 years and this job smells like a ripoff to me. They seen my grandaughter was alone and had to call her mother&well ripoff territory. BTW the chilton manual calls for. 9 hrs labor to install an alternator and the cost of the alternator was exorbitant plus I have never been charged labor to have a battery I bought from the establishment charge to install the battery
