The convoluted process of dealing with Phoenix Remanufactered Tranmissions (phoenixhardparts.com on the web), has been one nightmare after another lasting more than 2 MONTHS.
It took these guys nearly a month to get the unit to me for starters, then, everything about the unit was wrong! The bell housing, the torque converter... One thing after another. Then once the unit was installed, it turned out to be faulty.
My mechanic and I have made several attempts to contact the owner, Frank, with no reply on his behalf. Another fine example of "Customer NO-Service".
I have been without my vehicle for more than two months now because of the incompetance of this outfit. I have returned all of the parts back to them and have requested a FULL refund in the amount of $3,299.00.
We'll see if they have the stones to honor their guarantee and refund my money. Stay tuned for an update.
