I know its a long report but to understand the way Auto Dealers Operates you must to have the whole story presented. So take a couple of coffee sit back relax and read. I am with you all the way to the end of this report, it took me longer to write it - then you to read it believe me.

I do have real name but, this time please call me Charles, I would like to use my go-by name to protect Security of my Home from people, they will be definitely very upset after they read about themselves in such a nice and not so nice place. I have read al the rules of the consumer complaints and I am fully aware that this is very good place and legit place to put your peace of mind.

After you I got screwed (I explain later how), I made a decision to use this web site to put the word out, and to send a WARNING! Message to others, to stay away from some businesses that trying to rip you off or promising you something they cant deliver. This is what happened to me.

The PROMISE was broken, and they feel like nothing happened. For them was like - Oh well! - just another business day. The sale was conducted, RING the Bell! Stupid! No I was Stupid - Naive! And Happy I got a Car. Right. Not for long.

Well, here is my PROMISE I give to them. I told them I will post my Complained to anywhere I can on the Internet Super Hwy. I will write to Better Business Bureau and to TV Media and Newspapers. I will take the time now. Its my turn now. They Probably dont know yet that business on the Internet is the fastest growing business in the whole spectrum. After they going to read this report, they are not going to be very happy, but I am hopping that this will help other people to not get screwed. And the best part about it is guess what? FREEDOM OF SPEECH! Yeah I have my rights to freedom of expression. So now who is laughing Douglas? See how much business you get now after people will find out about your shady business, promises you cant deliver. This is not it. There are other media outlets I will use also. This is just the beginning. Lets started shall we?

So I am here to File a Personal Report based on my personal experience and I am not happy about the way the Douglas Hyundai Auto Dealer in Irvine Conducted Business with me. I feel I was ripped -off. I was promised a car - despite they knew about my bad Credit History. They assure me and Promise I will Drive a Car tonight home, We finance anyone with bad credit we specialized in bad Credit. Well, that was not it. You see. Yeah I did drive the car home that night, but.

Happened to me On January, 10th. I was looking to purchased a vehicle for past several weeks. I could not get financed anywhere as my Credit is very Poor due to my Health Problems. I did file Chapter 13th, bankruptcy and it was discharged. But apparently it is not good enough for the Bankers as I could file chapter 7th, bankruptcy. But why would I want to get rid of my Car if I decide to file the Chapter 7? Who knows. Well, better then Mother the bankers knows best.

I received a call from Sales rep John Doe from DOUGLAS HYUNDAI AUTO CENTER, and right off the bat I told him, man I cant get car, I wont get financed. I told him several times that. He insisted that thats not true, I must give him a chance. He told me that he is on the same wagon I am, bad credit no car, he feel for me. He want to HELP me. I finally give in, and I say OK. Since you put that way - OK. What the heck, I believe him. NO! - I trusted him. He will make it good on his promise.

So I drove 25 miles, with a friend and a loan of $3.000 from my family member for down payment, and went. Everything went smoothly, nice talk, my lips were cracking from dry air, but I did not complained they did not offer me anything to drink. (Oh yeah I almost forgot I am 50 year old gentleman from Poland).

The Contract and some other papers were signed, wait you want a list? Ok here it is: a) Vehicle AS-IS Agreement - NO Warranty, (if you buying used vehicle), b) Agreement to Furnish Insurance Policy (if You dont have one already - I recommend you come with your won Insurance, If you dont want to get ripped-off - Again), c) Credit Score Disclosure, d) History Disclosure Form, e) Due Bill (tell you they do not promise you anything extra sold in a car) just as-is, f) Contract Cancellation Option Agreement, (the one that tells you to You were given the opportunity to purchase this Cancellation Contract Option), means they can use the recession law to cancel the contract, but you cant cancel the contract, that means there is no cooling off period what a bunch of bologna. Copies of the Contracts are on display on my web site

And at last & the Contract, with HIGH interest usually more than 21% that to be very generous if you get that. Usually is 24%. And the sale of the contract is so complex you need a Blue Book Value to go purchase used vehicle - DO NOT GO without one or lop Top if you have one, so You can check the Market Value and you prove them you not so stupid after all.

So - the contract and the papers were signed. The key were giving to me assuring everything is in order. And the Finale & They make me Ring the Bell such as a Car was sold.

Was it? Really Sold? Or was it just another way of showing that the numbers are showing good for the end of the day. Making sure the Business would not closed prematurely, or for the Tax Purpose.

I am wondering if the Sales man who sold me the car is going to be paid by the end of the day for sale of the car? Does he will clamed his commission? I know that he gets paid no matter if he does sale a car or not till he reach certain level of sales for the month to meet the commission. But is in it this to not screwing the buyer but the sales man also? Who worked tirelessly for 5 hrs to close the deal to later find out the sale actually did not go true?

Well you guessed, I find out 5 days later on January 15th, they want me to return the vehicle or they will come and re-po the auto if I do not return it to them, in fashionable time, because they cant find a bank that would financed the car.

I find out couple of the reasons. One - I could file Chapter 7 Bankruptcy (after my Chapter13th was discharged), so the bank felt insecure about giving me loan. Of course the Dealer Neglect to disclosure the information, two - ONLY California has a recession known as a Sellers Rights to Cancel, Laws that allow the dealer the take a car back if they cant find financed company, (the dealer neglect to show me the recession laws on the back page of the Contract. Three - The Dealer made me sign CONTRACT CANCELLATION OPTION AGREEMENT it is in State of California and for Used Vehicle Only. (Details available upon request by email).

All that meaning that the Dealer has all the rights to do whatever they want to. Sell and take it back the car whenever they feel like it. And if you dont they call the Caps on you. When you call the Caps on them its Called Civil Matters, so you are screwed whichever you looking at the contracts you signing at the dealer. And on the end you as the Consumer dont have any rights at all.

Why bother to buy a Car then you asked? Well, you need a wheels to get to work. Well, I guess I need to find another alternatives after this fiasco. But on the end I am the one is Laughing, I have the last word, I am posting the shady way they doing business, I pray that millions of people read this. And will stay way from them.

They cash my Check for $2000 (two thousand dollars), making an interest on it for 10 days. (The good news was that the Market was down big time). They did not give me my Money back Guarantee as they Promised, (My Attorney told me I should not give them the car keys till I get my check back) too little too late. I did it. Well remember Dont!

This is about Purchasing a Car, specially if you have a BAD Credit or no Credit History, the Car Dealers and Bankers will take a ride on your ass pretty good.

There is so many unanswered questions, I was advised by my Attorney, and I would like to give you people some advice. Its free so take it for whatever is worth it. 1) Do not believe them what they tell you. 2) DO NOT let them persuade you to take the car home (drive off the parking lot) You have a HUGE Liability, till you have a bank approval, which in return you have the right to tell the Dealer DO NOT Cash the Check till the Bank Approve the Deal), if they do Contact your Attorney Immediately. The Bank must to approve your financing to allow the Dealer to Cash the check. 3) If you find yourself in situation that you take the car home and they told you they give you money back DO NOT give them the key till they give you the check. 4) DO NOT shop for Car it will lower your Credit Score for Inquiries.

I know I am smart now and I am telling you dont do those things, save yourself a headache.

Anyway -
This is the way sometimes or many times Business is conducted in America or USA. The short term goals and the short term memories of those they do business with you, trying to sell you something that you put your heart in it, later to find out they will come and take it away, rip your heart out, your dream car, from your American Dreams you thought you just purchased. This people do not care about you, they care about the numbers they cranking for themselves, they are not there for you! They are there to make money and you are one of the links for them to be rich and for you to be poor.
