Complaint / review text:
I purchased a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid 2012 on August 1 paying $5500 as a down payment. Having signed all athe paperwork I was told the car would be in by August 23-25,2012. It is now August 27th and the car is supposedly in the "Port" at Newark. No one knows when the car will be brought to the dealer. The Dealer told me to call Hyundai customer care to find out when the car will be available. Hyundai called the dealer with me and it is not Hyundai corporate care who is responsibloe.
The told the dealer to call the Hyundai rep (there are 6 or 7 throughout the US). Sansone would not put me in touch with them and said they will give send me back a check on Monday.
I want the car not the check. I purchased a vehicle they apparently cannot secure and held my money for almost a month now.
And of course their contract state they are not responsible when these card come in and that you cant get interest for the money they held.
I have a VIN number of the car as well.
Be careful when dealing with these guys.
It appears I am not the first to complain about them.
