Wife was run off road approx. 9am and had to be taken to emergency room while I was at work. Ga. State patrol showed up after ambulance departure and called Adairsville towing to tow the vehicle. I was notified
and went to the e.R. To be with my wife who was slightly injured and medicated. When I got there GSP officer was there finishing his paperwork and giving me that info. At that time he told me that the person that run
my wife off the road did not stop. And also told me there was no damage or minimal to my wifes vehicle but he could not leave it there so he called Adairsville towing. E.R. Release my wife and I bring her home and went to see about her vehicle. That is when I got slapped in the face by these theives. The car was off of the road about 15 feet on a small pile of brush
and could have been drove away no problem. Adairsville Towing towed it approx. 3 miles to their place of business and charged 225.00. Can you beleive it??? I need to go in the towing business so I can get rich too
but I probably could'nt sleep at night. I asked for an explanation of the charges and was told 85.00 for the tow - 85.00 for recovery - 35.00 for clean-up and 20.00 for storage even though the vehicle was only in their
posession for about 3 hours. I viewed the site and there was no difficulty with towing this car not even a ditch. There was no clean-up to be done it was in the grass. I urge locals and travellers do not call these pirates if you do you will regret it bigtime.in this case the GSP called them with nobody's permission to do so. I paid for the tow and drove it home. Paid
because I had no choice. So I am letting others know this company is a ripoff from jump. Before you tow or get a vehicle serviced make sure you know how much and make sure you do not use Adairsville Towing and Automotive the ripoff kings in Adairsville. P.S. I have had probably 20 - 30 vehicle towed in my life and never paid more than 75.00 and that one was 45 mile tow so beware please. Thanks for reading.
