Backordered item, Took my money - will not process refund

I ordered a part on 11/28/07 and they charged my credit card that day for $251.90. I waited for an email to say my item had been shipped but didn't receive one. So I called on 12/3. Jeaneen said the item was on backorder and she will call me back. No call back. I called again on 12/10, Jeaneen said no update yet. I decided to cancel the order online on 12/18 so I could use the money for something else for Christmas.

On 12/19 I called and talked to Barbara & Jeaneen and they told me I could cancel my order but I had to pay a 5% cancellation fee. I said - for what? You've had my money since 11/28, you have no idea when the part will come in, and you are charging ME 5%. I should be charging THEM interest!!! I decided to cut my losses. They cancelled my order that day and it is now 1/1 and the credit has not shown up yet.

I called on 12/17 and a man told me that the Accounting Dept was off from 12/20-1/2 - WHAT? And that no credits were processed during that time. Ridiculous! No company should do business this way. I really wish I would have read the consumer complaints before I placed my order. Trust me I will from now on before ordering from a new company either by phone or online. Don't use them, find another supplier.
