It all began when I ordered parts for my 2007 silverado truck (good prices I thought). The parts came in about a week. Noticed that they were the incorrect parts, began calling to see what needed to be done. Took about another week to get a hold of someone. The return policy is done strictly on the internet. But no one would e-mail me back. Finally was sent an r.G.A. (which is needed for all returns). Was told that I would be reimbursed for return shipping if the mistake was theirs. Spent 28.37 to return.
7-10 days later I called the help desk once again to see what was being done, I was informed by a very rude woman that my card was going to be credited because the correct parts would be another 100.00. Told them it would be okay, I just wanted to be done with the whole thing!
I logged onto my credit card account 7-10 days later to find that i had only Benn credited 145.47. Angrily i called the help desk and was told that I was charged a 25% restocking fee, the paperwork sent with my order stated that they charged the fee for certain parts (parts that I did not order)! Or any special order parts (which mine were not)! I was also charged a fee of 38.00 dollars just for making a return (I guess?) And I was not refunded the return shipping either.
So the bottom line is 241.85 -original order, 28.37 for return shipping, For a total of 270.22 Then was refunded 145.47 To make the total owed to me to be 124.75 all because they made a mistake and sent me the wrong parts! The whole thing took over a month, 5-6 e-mails and countless phone calls. What a rippoff!
