I ordered several engine repair parts from partsforscooters.com. None of the parts I received matched what I ordered. I ended up sending back 5 out of the 7 parts I ordered and I was dissapointed by the two parts that I did keep. They also forgot to ship an exhaust gasket I needed. The order was completely and obviously wrong and they admitted responsibilty for the mistakes over the phone and told me to send the parts back. They would not reimburse the money for shipping or pay for the return shipping. So Im out the money for the shipping twice and if I wanted the correct parts I would have to pay for shipping for a third time. They also told me they charge a 20% restocking fee for returned parts. As if the shipping wasn't enough to upset someone, finding out they are charging me 20% of my order because they sent me the wrong parts seems beyond unethical. The return policy they have ensures they make lots of money by sending wrong parts. They make 20% of the cost of the part without having to sell it all. Such a system encourages them to send wrong parts because they dont lose any money whatsoever. They get their parts back and charge you for all the shipping plus 20%. Making money out of thin air by sending wrong parts. Why would they even send the correct parts at all if the can make more money by sending wrong ones? It has been more than a month now since I sent the parts back and I have yet to have had any money credited back to my account from partsforscooters.com
I got seriously ripped off from this company.
