I went in to get my brakes fixed at Just Brakes last month, I had to get all new hardware as well as pads, etc. I got my car back and the next day I was driving my grandaughter to school and all of a sudden my brakes went out as I was coming to a stop sign. I had to use the emergency brakes to stop the car. Luckily I was not far from home so I went back home.
I called Just Brakes and told them my situation and they told me they would send a tow truck. It never came. I called them about it again and they said that i would have to bring in the car myself. I had to arrange to get my car towed at my own expense.
I decided to take it into the dealer instead as I did not trust Just Brakes at this point. The dealer informed me that they NEVER changed the parts they said they were going to change. I went back to Just Brakes to talk to them about what the dealer had found and they informed me very rudely that there was nothing they could do. I contacted the Just Brakes main company and only after threatening them with a report to the Better Business Bureau, they told me that I would be reimbursed for my expenses.
Three weeks later, I get a check. I found that they only reimbursed me the cost of the supposed "brake job" and not the towing nor dealer charges. I have already filed with the Better Business Bureau and everyone else who has been ripped off by this company should do likewise.
