I purchased an American Hauler dual axel trailer from a local dealer for my business.in less than three months and no more than 3K miles I had issues. On my way to a job site several hours away from home I stopped for gas and noticed that one of the wheels was very hot.
I called the Local dealer and was told in short to turn off the electric brakes and check it at the next stop. I wasnt 5 miles down the road when the bearing cap flew off. I was told by the dealer to have it towed to the nearest garage and have them repair it and I would be reimbursed my cost.
Several weeks later I have a cost for repairs in excess of $550 a towing bill of $80 and Wages paid to employees and $500 in rental fees to finish my job. I have been told they will only reimburse me the amount for the repairs. I have called and emailed several times and I never get a response. The garage indicated that the bearings on all the wheels were never greased.
My advice to anyone looking to buy a trailer to look at all other manufactures the warranty that was given with this trailer isnt worth using as toilet paper and the advertisement on the manufactures web site is deception. They should be ashamed to use America in the name.
